In the post–seen on this page–the actor thanks the famed director for his “trust and indissoluble elegance,” adding that he “can’t wait for the world to see what we just did.”

The feature–which does not yet have a release window–also stars Sandrine Holt, Diane Kruger and Guy Pearce. In the film, Karsh (Cassel), a businessman and grieving widower, builds a device “to connect with the dead within a burial shroud.”

This invention–installed at his cemetery–allows him and his clients “to watch their departed loved ones decompose in real time. But, one night, several graves are nearly destroyed–including the one holding Karsh’s wife.

This vandalism drives Karsh “to re-evaluate his business, marriage and fidelity to his late wife’s memory–as well as to push him to new beginnings.”
