by Rob Caprilozzi

More works from Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will be headed our way soon as Deadline is reporting that the creator will begin to shop his script for The Brides while his other new creation, The Shelley Society was just picked up by HBO Max.

Focusing on a young Mary Shelley, The Shelley Society is described as a Victorian X-Files and Shelley leads a squad of romantic outlaws against all things that go bump in the night.

The Brides is set to be a reimagining of The Brides of Dracula which features three female leads and shows us the things they do to keep their preside, wealth and legacy.

Aguirre-Sacasa has amassed an interesting track record in the genre as he wrote the screenplay for Carrie (2013), The Town that Dreaded Sundown (2014), and is also the writer/creator of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
