Not every safe haven is what it seems to be.
The Seeding–a new horror pic described as an “unsettling, shockingly nightmarish film”–will screen at Beyond Fest and Sitges before a planned theatrical release early next year, according to Variety.
The film–the feature directorial debut for Barnaby Clay, who also wrote the screenplay–stars Scott Haze (Venom) and Kate Lyn Sheil (You’re Next).
The Seeding follows a hiker who becomes lost in the desert and seeks shelter with a woman who’s living alone. Unfortunately, he soon discovers “she may not be there willingly.”
