‘The Resurrection Of Charles Manson’ Bows In February

Some things–and people–should not come back.

The Resurrection of Charles Manson–the XYZ Films horror thriller originally titled Man’s Son–this week got its release date for early next year, according to a report on Collider.

The film–which stars Frank Grillo (of The Purge fame)–will land on-demand and digital Feb. 16, 2023. The rest of the cast includes Will Peltz, Sarah Dumont, Jaime King, Katherine Hughes and Josh Plasse (who also co-wrote the screenplay).

The horror pic–directed by Remy Grillo from a script by Plasse and Brey Moss–follows a couple who travel to an Airbnb in the desert for a weekend vacation, according to the synopsis.

While there, they decide to film an audition tape for their upcoming film. As it turns out, that was a bad idea, as a cult with ties to Charles Manson and his “family” hope to bring their leader back from the dead. By any means necessary–including human sacrifices.
