‘The Queen Mary’ Set To Cruise Into Theaters This Summer

Horror on the high seas.

The Queen Mary–a psychological horror pic that was actually produced on the iconic ocean liner–is slated for a theatrical release this summer, according to Variety.

The feature–from director Gary Shore (Dracula Untold) and screenwriters Stephen Oliver and Tom Vaughan–chronicles the mysterious and violent events surrounding one family’s voyage on Halloween night in 1938 aboard the famous ship.

In the film, according to the synopsis, “a haunting story is unraveled between the 1930s and the present, telling the tale of two families whose lives become violently entangled.”

The cast includes Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness), Joel Fry (Game of Thrones), Nell Hudson (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), William Shockley (Death in Texas) and Lenny Rush (Am I Being Unreasonable?).

Brett Matthew Tomberlin, Thorsten Schumacher, Lars Sylvest, Nigel Sinclair, Nicholas Ferrall and Mali Elfman produced the film.
