The Nun II–the follow-up to the 2018 horror hit–continued its winning box office ways in its second weekend, with another strong performance that brought the film’s global total to more than $100 million, according to Variety.

On the domestic side, the movie earned another $15 million this weekend, bringing its stateside total to more than $56 million.
The Nun II--directed by Michael Chavez from a screenplay by Akela Cooper–stars Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene and Bonnie Aarons (who will be a special guest next weekend–Sept. 23-24–at Connecticut HorrorFest) as the demon Valak.
Set in 1956 France–four years after the original film–the sequel finds Sister Irene once again coming face-to-face with Valak at a local boarding school.
