The Nun II has enjoyed an impressive box office run since it debuted last month, and now the latest entry in The Conjuring film franchise will start streaming on Max next week, according to a report on Deadline.

The horror pic–which hits Max Oct. 27–followed up a successful opening weekend in early September with a domestic box office total to date of more than $84 million and more than $258 million worldwide.

The Nun II–directed by Michael Chavez from a screenplay by Akela Cooper–follows young Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) as she battles against an evil Mother Superior–in fact, the demon Valak (Bonnie Aarons), who takes over the souls of those people around her.

Set in 1956 France–four years after the first film–the feature picks up following the demonic possession of Maurice (Jonas Bloquet). The cast is rounded out by Storm Reid.

The Conjuring franchise–stretching now over eight films–is the highest-grossing horror series ever, raking in more than $2 billion worldwide.
