Whistle while you…watch in horror.

Corin Hardy–the filmmaker behind The Nun–has a new horror project, Whistle–which will be showcased at the American Film Market, according to a report on Deadline. Production is expected to start in a couple of weeks in Ontario.

The feature–helmed by Hardy from a screenplay by Owen Egerton (adapted from his short story)–is produced by David Gross and Macdara Kelleher, with Black Bear handling international sales

Starring Dafne Keen, Sophie Nelisse, Sky Yang, Percy Hynes White and Nick Frost, the film follows a group of high school students who stumble across a cursed object–the ancient Aztec Death Whistle.

The students discover that the “terrifying sounds the whistle emits summon their future deaths to hunt them down.” The teenagers then search out the origins of the whistle “in a desperate effort to stop the horrifying chain of events they have set in motion.”
