Going out with a bang.

The Last of Us–HBO’s small-screen adaptation of the popular 2013 Naughty Dog video game–is wrapping up its first successful season with Episode 9 tomorrow night, and a “Making Of” special will air on HBO Max right after the season finale. Check out the Twitter post on this page for the official announcement.

The series–led by creators and showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann–takes place amid the ruins of a post-apocalyptic world where the Cordyceps fungus has transformed people into a race of dangerous zombie-like creatures.

In this world, Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, has been hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of a quarantine zone. The intrepid duo struggles against monsters every step of the way, growing closer through each adventure.

The cast is rounded out by Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Merle Dandridge, Jeffrey Pierce, Lamar Johnson, Kelvonn Woodard and Ashley Johnson.
