The Final Plague #1 Review

Writer: Johnnie Arnold
Artist: Tony Guaraldi-Brown
Publisher: Action Lab Comics

Synopsis: “The Final Plague” is a re-imagining of the zombie genre from the eyes that are always watching, rarely seen, and outnumber us exponentially: animals. When animals become infected with a virus that causes them to hunger for human flesh there is nowhere safe for humans. Imagine if every rat in New York City stopped being afraid of you…and started being hungry.

Our thoughts: What a pleasant surprise from Action Lab Comics!

The Final Plague introduces us to characters that seem easy to care about. They have real life problems that are about to get a whole lot worse.

Writer, Johnnie Arnold scripts a tension filled first issue that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The art, by Tony Guaraldi-Brown adds to the mood of the book as rabid animals could not be drawn any cooler.

The Final Plague is a creepy unsettling tale that will keep you coming back for more!
