The Countdown To Halloween Starts With New Funko Calendar

Just in case you needed help mapping out the two weeks before Halloween this year, Funko has an eerie countdown calendar to ease the anxiety.

The new calendar–available Aug. 21 (and you can preorder one from Amazon for $26)–boasts 13 monsters, ghouls and iconic figures from your favorite horror movies, as reported by mentalfloss.com.

This special Halloween calendar is a natural offshoot from Funko’s annual Advent calendar (with mini-versions of its Pop! figurines) that celebrates the Christmas season.

To get you in the proper mood for the scariest time of the year, each of the calendar’s 13 panels conceals a small version of a spooky Funko Pop! doll. These figurines include such horror luminaries as Michael Myers of Halloween infamy, Freddy Krueger from the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise and even Jack Nicholson’s deranged Jack Torrance character from The Shining.

The tiny figures–which also include likenesses from The Nun and Annabelle–range in height from 1 1/2 inches to 1 3/4 inches tall.

So, keep reading Horror News Network (and adding to your Funko Pop! collection) in preparation for the 2020 version of the Halloween season.
