‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’ Gets New Featurette

The third entry in The Conjuring film series, titled The Devil Made Me Do it, has a brand new Behind-the-Scenes featurette showcasing the stars and producer James Wan in the process of film making that was released online today by Warner Brothers.

With the genre of horror, the only thing scarier than the movies themselves are ones that are based on real life events. The Conjuring film series is exactly that, which are inspired by the case files of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Originally released on YouTube, the featurette can be seen here:

From the synopsis by Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema, The Devil Made Me Do It reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.

Directed by Michael Chaves and starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as the legendary investigators, The Conjuring film series has grossed over $1 billion worldwide and spawned multiple spin-offs, such as the Annabelle films and The Nun.

Set for release on June 4, 2021, check back soon for more on The Conjuring 3!

Since Mark was four years old he has always loved the horror genre, even when his mother would be a good parent and not let him watch such films. It was when he would sneak into the Horror section at the video store called Tommy K's that he would see all of the VHS covers of classics like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. During his time as a journalism major and news staff writer at Southern CT State University, he had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren before a seminar in 2009 at the Lyman Center on campus.
