‘Thanksgiving’ Still Sets Table During Second Weekend

What’s better than cold turkey and stuffing?

Thanksgiving–the Eli Roth holiday horror pic based on his mock trailer from Grindhouse–followed up a strong opening weekend with another good outing this weekend, according to numbers reported by Deadline.

The Tri-Star/Spyglass Media entry came in fifth place, earning another $7.5 million in 3,200 domestic theaters in its second weekend, bringing its stateside running total to $23.5 million to date.

Thanksgiving–directed and produced by Roth from a screenplay he wrote with Jeff Rendell–follows a mysterious killer known as John Carver as he terrorizes Plymouth, Mass.–trying to turn the local populace into a bloody feast. Anyone for seconds?
