The film–an expansion of Roth’s mock trailer he produced for 2007’s Grindhouse double-feature–slashes into theaters Nov. 17, and the brief clip predicts fans will be introduced to “a new American horror legend” in the movie.
The TriStar Pictures and Spyglass Media entry–directed and produced by Roth from a screenplay he wrote with Jeff Rendell–follows a mysterious killer known as John Carver as he stalks the quiet streets of the small town of Plymouth, Mass. It seems that Carver’s idea of a Thanksgiving table includes a carving board made from the unsuspecting locals.
The cast includes Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Neil Verlaque, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim, Gina Gershon, Rick Hoffman and Tim Dillon.
