Didn’t we just leave this party?
A Terror Train remake just pulled into Tubi a month ago, and a sequel is already chugging its way back into the station, according to a report on Collider.
Terror Train 2 recently wrapped production in Montreal, and is headed for a Tubi debut New Year’s Eve–Dec. 31. This new film reportedly will pay homage to the 1980 original cult classic that was set during a New Year’s Eve party.
The same creative team–director Philippe Gagnon and screenwriters Ian Carpenter and Aaron Martin–returns for the sequel, which is produced by Graham Ludlow and Kaleigh Kavanagh.
Robyn Alomar and Tim Rozon reprise their roles in the sequel, which takes place more than a year after “gruesome, vengeful murders took the lives of several college seniors aboard the infamous Terror Train,” according to the synopsis.
Now, the remaining survivors are “coerced into taking a New Year’s Eve redemption ride on the same train–where a new evil awaits and the terrified passengers must again fight to survive.” How dumb can you be?
