The new year, a full moon and fangs galore.
Teen Wolf: The Movie–drawing on the MTV series Teen Wolf for inspiration–wrapped production back in May, and this week it was announced that the feature will debut on Paramount+ Jan. 26, 2023. Check out the first full trailer for the film on this page.
The pic–directed by Russell Mulcahy and written by executive producer Jeff Davis–returns to Beacon Hills, where another terrifying evil has reared its ugly head. “The wolves are howling once again,” according to the synopsis, “calling for the return of the banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, Kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night.”
And only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), “no longer a teenager, but still an alpha, can gather both new allies and trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and most deadly enemy they’ve ever faced.”
Also on hand for all this monstrous mayhem are Crystal Reed (not seen since Season 3 of the original show), Tyler Hoechlin (reprising his Derek Hale role), Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, J.R. Bourne, Seth Gilliam, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio and Dylan Sprayberry.
