The feature–slated to hit Paramount+ starting Jan. 26, 2023–is directed by Russell Mulcahy and written by executive producer Jeff Davis. The show returns to Beacon Hills, where another horrifying evil has arisen.

“The wolves are howling again,” according to the synopsis, “calling for the return of the banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, Kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night.”

And only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Posey), “no longer a teenager–but still an alpha–can gather both new allies and trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and most deadly enemy they’ve ever faced.”

Joining in on the fun are Crystal Reed (not seen since Season 3 of the original show), Tyler Hoechlin (reprising his Derek Hale role), Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, J.R. Bourne, Seth Gilliam, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio and Dylan Sprayberry.
