Teaser Finally Arrives For ‘Creepshow’ Video Game

The cackle is back.

It’s been more than a year since Shudder and DreadXP announced their new video game based on the Creepshow horror anthology show, and this week, a brief teaser dropped. Check it out on this page.

The video game–with no exact release date yet (except for the hint of “very soon”)–is the brainchild of DreadXP, the label behind such games as The Mortuary Assistant and the Dread X Collection series.

Brian Clarke–developer of The Mortuary Assistant–serves as creative director of the new game. “I’m extremely excited to be part of this project,” Clarke said. “I’ve always loved Creepshow’s format–and the idea of driving the cohesion of multiple perspectives on horror is really compelling to me.”

Creepshow–a Shudder original based on the 1982 George A. Romero film–kicked off its fourth season Oct. 13. In the show, the Creep presents horror tales from the pages of the Creepshow comic book.
