“I would love to play with you, really.”
The Wrath of Becky–the aptly named sequel to the 2020 horror hit–will barrel into theaters this Friday, May 26, and one last clip has arrived to tease the teenager’s bloody rampage. Check out the video on this page.
In the film–written and directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote–Lulu Wilson reprises her titular role, with Seann William Scott, Courtney Gains, Aaron Della Villa, Michael Strow, Denise Burse-Fernandez, Jill Larson and Kate Siegel rounding out the cast.
The sequel picks up two years after Becky escaped a violent attack on her family–she’s now trying to rebuild her life in the care of an older woman named Elena.
But a group called the Noble Men break into their home and steal their beloved dog, Diego. That doesn’t sit well with Becky, and she “returns to her old ways to protect herself and her loved ones.”
The original Becky–directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion from a screenplay by Nick Morris and Lane Skye–introduces the teen as she tries to reconnect with her father during a weekend getaway at a lakefront house. But that effort is destroyed by another violent group of men.
