Don’t tick her off.
The Wrath of Becky–the upcoming sequel to the 2020 horror hit Becky–this week unveiled its first teaser trailer to hold fans until its theatrical release (which may be next month–but stay tuned for an exact date).
Meanwhile, check out the brief clip on this page.
The feature–written and directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote–picks up with Becky (Lulu Wilson reprising her lead role), who has been “living off the grid for two years,” according to the logline.
But now, her life gets a lot more complicated when she’s forced to “go toe-to-toe against Darryl (Seann William Scott)–the leader of a fascist organization–on the eve of an attack.”
The rest of the cast includes Courtney Gains, Aaron Della Villa, Michael Strow, Denise Burse-Fernandez, Jill Larson and Kate Siegel.
The original Becky–directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion from a screenplay by Nick Morris and Lane Skye–follows the teen as she tries to reconnect with her father during a weekend getaway at a lakefront house. But those plans are spoiled by a band of convicts on the lam, led by the merciless Dominick (Kevin James).
