Good Omens won’t launch on Amazon Prime Video until 2019, but the streaming giant is already preparing for even more new television series from Neil Gaiman! The visionary writer behind such media crossover hits as The Sandman, Coraline, and American Gods, will now be working exclusively with Amazon for global distribution of upcoming series.
Variety reports that the announcement came at an Amazon “show-and-tell” event in London on Tuesday. The deal will see Gaiman, “move to Amazon from production and distribution giant Fremantle, with which he had signed a multi-year first-look deal just last year and which produces American Gods. It is unclear what happened to that partnership.”
