Fox Unveils Official Teaser Trailer for ‘The Predator’

Some lucky fans got a sneak peak at some footage from director Shane Black’s upcoming film, The Predator at CinemaCon late last month, and now the rest of us get to see what all the fuss is about! Featuring clips which fit the description of what was described of the CinemaCon reel, the trailer reveals a few brief glimpses of the new title creature and some context of the story of the movie itself.

The teaser begins with a shot of a boy (played by Jacob Tremblay) who opens a very special package which seems to contain a little more than his latest Amazon Prime order. Official Cast Photo from The Predator Revealed on First Day of Filming

To help celebrate the first day of shooting for The Predator, director Shane Black took to Twitter to post the first official image for the film. The shot features Black and key cast members, and reveals some unique elements to their wardrobe:

Posing with Shane Black in the photo are Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Kay, Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, and Jacob Tremblay. As you can see, the deep greens and browns of the original film are still a major part of the cast’s wardrobe. read more

Arnold Schwarzenegger Unlikely to Return for 2018’s The Predator

So much for, “I’ll be back!”

Early reports are suggesting there’s no place for Arnold Schwarzenegger in Shane Black’s 2018 movie, The Predator. Actor Boyd Holbrook, who has recently been cast in a role originally reserved for Benicio Del Toro, told We Got This Covered the following:

“I’m currently working on Predator. It’s not a sequel; Shane Black has made something totally new, somehow keeping within the realm of Predator [while also being] absolutely new in terms of the story that we’re talking about today, and rooted in something real. It’s real fresh. I don’t think you’re going to see [Arnold] Schwarzenegger. It would kind of make it a gimmick. It’s horror, science-fiction and a western.” read more
