Title: Tabatha #1 (of 4)

Writer: Neil Gibson

Artist: Casper Wijngaard

Publisher: T-Publications

Sub-Genre: Mystery

Synopsis: Tabatha is a 4 issue series from the mind of Neil Gibson (creator of Twisted Dark, Twisted Light and Tortured Life). Tabatha is the story of Luke–a happy go lucky mailman in Los Angeles. As he goes about his daily route he notes which houses are not collecting their mail. Then, he goes back and robs them. Being a Gibson story, we can of course expect a twist..

Our Thoughts: I'll keep this review short and to the point. Tabatha is choke-full of surprises. So many, in fact, that I have intentionally removed the "synopsis" portion of this review to avoid any spoilers and listed the sub-genre as mystery. It is not easy to pull off twists and surprises in a comic, but that is precisely what this book is all about. Sure, you'll read a few pages and think you know what's going on, but you don't. The sense of mystery is great, the art and panel layout are top-notch, and if that isn't enough, Gibson also shows he has a great sense of humor. Seriously, don't look at anything else about the book; just go buy it and read it. Tabatha is available now on Comixology.
