The show–which recently announced new cast members and changes–starts its eight-episode Season 2 April 27, with showrunner, director and executive producer Jim MIckle at the helm.
In the cast, Naledi Murray, Neil Sandilands, Marlon Williams, Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. and Yonas Kibreab are all regulars now–joining Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Will Forte, Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez and Aliza Vellani. James Brolin provides the voice of the narrator.
In Season 1, Gus (Christian Convery)–part deer, part boy–leaves his forest home “to find the outside world ravaged by a cataclysmic event.” He soon joins a family of humans and animal-children hybrids like himself “in search of answers about this new world and the mystery behind his origins.”
