The night shift gets very dark.

Hunt Her, Kill Her–a new survival horror flick from fledgling genre studio Welcome Villain Films–this week received its theatrical release date of March 3, according to a report on Variety. Check out the chilling poster for the film on this page.

The feature–originally entitled Night Shift–premiered at the Chattanooga Film Festival, and then hit such genre sites as HorrorHound and the Chicago Horror Film Festival.

Hunt Her, Kill Her--directed by Ryan Thiessen and Greg Swinson (who wrote the screenplay)–follows a night shift janitor (Natalie Terrazzino) during her first day on the job. It turns out to be a bad day, as she finds herself “in an unexpected fight for survival when she becomes the target of sinister, masked intruders,” according to the brief synopsis.

Luke LaBeau of Welcome Villain said the new film “blew us away. We were impressed with the ingenuity–as they made the film for next to nothing, yet it looks and feels like a big cinematic endeavor.”
