Supernatural Thriller ‘Bye Bye Man’ Gets Funding

Deadline exclusively reported today that the Intrepid Pictures film ‘The Bye Bye Man’ has picked up funding from Los Angeles Media Fund. The supernatural thriller will be directed by Stacy Title.  Jonathan Penner has penned the script from the short story “The Bridge to Body Island” by Robert Damon Schneck.  The story is centered around terrifying events experienced by three students from a Wisconsin college in the 1990’s.   Principle photography is set to begin in November in Cleveland, Ohio.  The film will be produced by Trevor Macy (Intrepid) and LAMF’s  Jeffrey Soros and Simon Horsman.  Intrepid has also produced ‘The Strangers’, ‘Safe House’ and ‘Oculus’.
