Cheating can be very hazardous to your health.
Cheat–a horror film set for its world premiere at FrightFest in London in late August–has been picked up for global sales by Black Mandala, according to Variety.
The feature–written and directed by Kevin Ignatius and Nick Psinakis (The Long Dark Trail)–stars April Clark, Corin Clay and Michael Thyer.
The storyline deals with an urban legend that tells of a supernatural being from the afterlife that violently kills anyone who cheats on their partner.
Set in a small Pennsylvania college town with an unusually high suicide rate, the film follows local residents and students who become convinced that all is not what it seems. Enter a college woman who decides to sleep with the married man of the host family she’s staying with. Probably not a good idea.
