Super Bowl commercials are always a highlight of the NFL’s biggest day of the year, and this year will be no exception, as a new trailer for Scream VI will debut. But for those horror fans not tuned into the game this Sunday, check out the video on this page.
The latest entry in the classic horror film franchise hits theaters March 10 from the directing team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and screenwriters James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.
Legacy standouts Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding–along with newcomers Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny–will be up to their ears in the bloody mayhem this time around.
Scream VI finds the survivors of the last Ghostface killings traveling to New York City, where Tara suffers through psychological breakdowns–while seeing ghosts of past killers, according to the synopsis.
Meanwhile, Tara’s sister Sam tries to manipulate her by pretending to be Ghostface, but when that plan goes awry, “three masked killers appear–posing the question of who will survive and who will be the final victim.”
