OK, who made this bloody mess?
Super 7 this week announced that a new version of its Chucky Reaction Figure–inspired by Child’s Play 2–is ready to wreak havoc on the rest of your horror collectibles. Check out the photos of the figure–courtesy of Toyark–on this page.
The Child’s Play 2 Bloody Chucky figure–standing nearly four inches tall and carrying that nearly omnipresent bloody knife–is priced at $20. The collectible can be ordered from the Super 7 store or from Entertainment Earth or Big Bad Toy Store.
Child’s Play 2–the 1990 sequel directed by John Lafia from a screenplay by Don Mancini–is set two years after Child’s Play, when the notorious killer doll with the satanic smile comes back to life. The film depicts the terrifying struggle between young Andy Barclay and the doll trying to possess his soul.
The sequel–starring Alex Vincent, Christine Elise and Brad Dourif (as the voice of Chucky)–performed well at the box office, earning $36 million on a budget of $13 million. It was followed by Child’s Play 3 just nine months later.
