The way of all flesh.

The erotic horror thriller Suitable Flesh premiered at this summer’s Tribeca Film Festival, and now it has a theatrical and Shudder release date.

The film–based on H.P. Lovecraft’s short story The Thing on the Doorstep–hits the big screen Oct. 27 before a Shudder debut next January.

Directed by Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2) from a screenplay by Dennis Paoli, Suitable Flesh stars Heather Graham, Barbara Crampton, Judah Lewis, Bruce Davison and Johnathon Schaech.

In the feature, psychiatrist Elizabeth Derby (Graham) “becomes obsessed with helping a young patient suffering from an extreme personality disorder.” But that desire to help leads her into “dark occult danger, as she tries to escape a horrific fate.”
