Tippett–the driving force behind the visual effects of such genre classics as RoboCop, Jurassic Park and two Star Wars entries–reportedly worked on this unique film for three decades. Mad God combines live-action, stop-motion and miniature sets to bring the director’s vision to life.
The film–which features the voice talents of Alex Cox, Niketa Roman, Satish Ratakonda, Harper Taylor and Brynn Taylor–is set in a world of monsters, mad scientists and war pigs, according to the synopsis.
In the movie, “a corroded diving bell descends into a ruined city, setting down on an ominous fortress guarded by zombie-like sentries. The Assassin emerges to explore a labyrinth of bizarre landscapes inhabited by freakish denizens. Through unexpected twists and turns, he experiences an evolution beyond his wildest comprehension.”
