Steve Buscemi Joins Cast of ‘Wednesday’

Behind every great school is a caring principal.

Steve Buscemi has signed on to join the cast of Wednesday Season 2 at Netflix, according to a report on Variety. Buscemi will step into the dangerous role of the new principal of Nevermore Academy.

The much sought after actor has appeared in a slew of movies and television including Reservoir Dogs, Con Air, Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, Billy Bathgate, Pulp Fiction, Billy Madison, Escape from L.A., The Big Lebowski, Mad About You, Tales from the Crypt, The Sopranos, and more.

Buscemi joins the returning Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman.

Wednesday had the second-most pre-release followers of any Netflix original series on the platform, according to a report on TV Time. The series holds the record of most hours viewed in a week for an English-language Netflix series with a total 341 million hours watched in its first week of release, amounting to more than 50 million households.
