HBO wasted no time dropping a teaser for Episode 4 of its hit series The Last of Us. The third episode of the show–which has already been renewed for Season 2–aired this weekend, and fans can already watch a trailer for next week’s chapter. Check it out on this page.
The Last of Us–based on the popular Naughty Dog video game–is led by showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, and tells the horrifying tale of a post-apocalyptic world where the Cordyceps fungus has transformed humans into legions of zombie-like creatures.
Against this nightmarish backdrop, hardened survivor Joel (Pedro Pascal) is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of a dangerous quarantine zone–with monsters haunting their every step.
The cast is rounded out by Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Merle Dandridge, Jeffrey Pierce, Lamar Johnson, Kelvonn Woodard, Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker.
