‘Silent Hill’ Streaming Event Set for Thursday

by Rob Caprilozzi

“There was a hole here. It’s gone now.”

Yesterday Konami revealed great news for Silent Hill fans as they have announced a live streaming event which will take place this Thursday at 7:00pm ET on the Silent Hill YouTube channel. The message that appeared on Twitter/X, which can be seen below, promises that they’ll “share game updates, a deeper look at the film, and new merch.”

Just two weeks ago we shared an update from Variety as they posted the first picture of Pyramid Hill from the Return to Silent Hill movie. That film is being directed by Christophe Gans, who also directed the 2006 film Silent Hill. Return to Silent Hill is based on the Silent Hill 2 video game which was released on September 24, 2001. It would be a safe bet to assume that the film updates would be referring to this upcoming feature.
