Godzilla vs. Kong–directed by Adam Wingard from a screenplay by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein–was a sequel to Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters and was the fourth film in Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse.
In the film–which grossed more than $467 million worldwide–Kong battles Godzilla as humans lure the giant ape into the Hollow Earth to retrieve a power source for a secret weapon to stop Godzilla’s rampages.
