With the traditional San Diego Comic Con cancelled, the annual convention will now take place on-line via Comic-Con@Home, and many media outlets are announcing traditional panel schedules for the event. The leader in streaming horror networks, Shudder. is no exception and will be bringing horror fans two panels entitled “Scary Good TV” and “Horror is Queer”.

“Scary Good TV” will feature Nick Antosca (Channel Zero), Meredith Averill (Locke & Key), Don Mancini (Chucky), Greg Nicotero (Creepshow) and Jami O’Brien (NOS4A2) as they “…offer their unique insights on why horror TV is having a moment and what it takes to create the kind of terrifying shows that keep viewers coming back episode after episode. Tananarive Due (executive producer, Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror) will moderate the panel.

“Horror is Queer” will focus on “…why horror cinema is (and always has been) queer with Sam Wineman (The Quiet Room), director of Shudder’s upcoming documentary on LGBTQ horror film history, and a panel of leading voices: Nay Bever (co-host, Attack of the Queerwolf podcast), Bryan Fuller (creator, Hannibal), Don Mancini (creator of the Child’s Play franchise), and Lachlan Watson (actor, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina)”. Writer Jordan Crucchiol will serve as moderator for the panel.

No times or dates have been announced for the panels as of yet, but the event will take place from July 22-26 on Youtube.
