Sometimes, a father’s love knows no bounds.
Let the Right One In--a vampire story with a unique father-daughter dynamic–will land on Showtime in a couple of weeks, and a full trailer has dropped to fuel the expectation. Check out the video on this page.
The 10-episode series–set to kick off Oct. 7–comes from creator and showrunner Andrew Hinderaker, and is inspired by the 2004 novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Seith Mann directed the pilot and additional episodes, and Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Alissa Bachner serve as executive producers.
The series follows Mark (Demian Bichir) and his daughter Eleanor (Madison Taylor Baez), whose lives were changed forever a decade earlier “when she was turned into a vampire,” according to the synopsis.
Frozen forever at age 12, Eleanor lives a “closed-in life–able to go out only at night–while her father does his best to provide her with the human blood she needs to stay alive.”
The series also stars Jimmie Saito, Josh Wingate, Caroline Neff, Zeljko Ivanek, Fernanda Andrade, Nick Stahl, Grace Gummer, Anika Noni Rose, Kevin Carroll, Ian Foreman and Jacob Buster.
