Short Trailer Teases Debut Of ‘American Horror Stories’

Ryan Murphy is playing it close to the vest with his upcoming American Horror Story spinoff.

The good news is that fans won’t have to wait too much longer to get a taste of the weekly anthology series. American Horror Stories–which promises “more horror that you can handle”–will premiere on FX on Hulu July 15, as reported by comicbook.com.

And a very short teaser trailer, seen on this page, is the only peek anyone will get–as of now. It’s not much, but it does whet the appetite.

In a very vague description of the 16-episode series, creator and executive producer Murphy said the spinoff will “delve into horror myths, legends and lore. Many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love.”

Adding to that small revelation, Murphy earlier this month reported that Kevin McHale (Glee), Dyllon Burnside (Pose), Nico Greetham (The Prom) and Charles Melton (Riverdale) have joined the spinoff’s cast. No details on their roles were provided.

Another tidbit that was dropped is that AHS favorite Sarah Paulson will sit in the director’s chair for at least one episode. It’s not clear, however, if she also will appear in any of the shows.
