She Came From The Woods–planned as an homage to the classic horror films of the 1980s–opened in theaters today, and a new clip–courtesy of Coming Soon–can be seen on this page.
The feature–from filmmakers Erik and Carson Bloomquist–is based on their 2017 horror short of the same name.
In the film, a group of counselors unleashes “an ancient evil spirit on the last night of summer camp,” according to the synopsis. As the dangerous situation escalates, the counselors “must confront which stories are worth telling–and what secrets are worth keeping.”
The cast includes genre veterans Cara Buono (Stranger Things), Clare Foley (Sinister), Spencer List (Mockingbird) and William Sadler (The Unholy).
