Sharlto Copley in Talks to Join OldBoy Remake

Variety is reporting that Sharlto Copley (District 9) has been offered the villain role in Spike Lee’s Oldboy remake for Mandate Pictures. Currently signed onto the film Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen. If Copley does join the cast, , he will play a “mysterious billionaire out to destroy the protag’s life, while Olsen will play a caseworker who helps Brolin’s character investigate the past.”
