Set Photo Shows Three Final Girls From ‘Halloween Ends’

They’re still standing.

Halloween Ends–reportedly the final chapter in the classic horror film franchise–is scheduled to hit theaters Oct. 14, but the countdown has already begun on the film’s set in Georgia.

And this week, star Jamie Lee Curtis released a photo showing the “final girls” who have survived the fury of Michael Myers–Curtis’ Laurie Strode, Andi Matichak’s Allyson and Kyle Richards’ Lindsey Wallace–all wearing appropriate T-shirts and carefree smiles (not likely to last when the cameras start rolling). Check out the photo–courtesy of comicbook.com–on this page.

The storyline of the next film is being kept mainly under wraps–it will be set four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills–and Curtis was very guarded when asked about the next installment. “Here’s my snippet: legacy,” she divulged. “It really has to do with the nature of evil and the legacy of evil.” Not much of a hint, Jamie Lee.

Halloween Ends–directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier–also features James Jude Courtney as Myers and Michael O’Leary as Dr. Mathis, along with Nick Castle (the original murderous Myers) in a cameo role.

Green said “there’s not a lot of games” in this film. “Not a lot of wittiness and retro joy. It’s kind of a coming-of-age film, and it has a very different tone.” The director added that it was exciting “to have the three chapters I’ve been involved in be very different from each other.”
