Sequel to ‘Along Came the Devil’ Now Filming

Deadline has learned that the sequel to 2018’s Along Came the Devil is current shooting in Georgia. Jason Devan will serve as director and co-writer along with his wife Heather Devan in the film from Gravitas Ventures.

The sequel sees the return of Bruce Davison as Reverend Michael. Joining the veteran actor in the pic are Laura Wiggins, Mark Ashworth, and Tiffany Fallon.

The official plot for the film reads:
After receiving an unsettling voicemail, Jordan (Fallon) returns home, looking for answers, only to find her estranged father and even more questions. A demonic force has attached itself to the town and no one is safe. The only one who seems to know anything is the small town’s Reverend.

The release date is not yet set in stone, but the company is eyeing an October premiere. Keep it locked to Horror News Network for the latest on the Along Came the Devil 2.
