“He’s coming.” Not good.
Five Nights at Freddy’s–the big-screen adaptation of the horror video game–lands in theaters right before Halloween, and a new bizarre trailer dropped this week. Check out the video on this page.
The Blumhouse feature–which hits the big screen Oct. 27–is directed by Emma Tammi from a screenplay she wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback. Producer Jason Blum said the film went through “many years of development. We had to find a structure that would work.”
In the film, Mike Schmidt (John Hutcherson), a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, quickly finds out that his job is very dangerous. It turns out that the building’s animatronic animals that are harmless during the day become deadly when the sun goes down.
Rounding out the cast are Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabeth Lail and Kat Conner Sterling.
