The horrors and the hauntings will return next month.
The 10-episode sixth season of Kindred Spirits will premiere on the Travel Channel and discovery+ Dec. 18, according to comicbook.com, with the familiar trio of investigators searching for the truth behind numerous eerie happenings.
Amy Bruni, Adam Berry and Chip Coffey–three of the country’s leading paranormal investigators–are back on the job and are “determined to uncover the mysteries behind unexplainable paranormal anomalies across the country,” according to the Season 6 description.
To kick things off, in the season premiere–The Undertaker’s Secret–the team travels to East Bridgewater, Mass. “to investigate a haunted building that terrorizes anyone who enters.” In 1892, the building was home to the Freemasons, a secret society that was famous for its “ritualistic obsession with death and the afterlife–and it’s possible their sinister intentions are still lingering,”
During the course of Season 6, Bruni said the team “potentially discovered a body in a basement and found a 300-year-old haunted shoe. This has been the most unpredictable and mind-bending set of investigations we’ve ever done.”
Berry added that this season will see “more family cases and new experiments that will blow your mind, and some of the craziest paranormal activity we’ve ever encountered.”
