The fifth season of the popular Shudder horror movie extravaganza The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs will start in April, and a partial schedule has been revealed by the host himself.
Briggs tweeted that Season 5 begins April 21 with Launch Party, followed by Walpurgisnacht Part 2 on April 28, Cinco de Mayo on May 5, Mama’s Day on May 12 and Dysfunctional Family Jubilee on May 19–with more episodes to be announced.

Season 5 reportedly will be broken down into two blocks of five double-feature episodes. The first five will air from April 21 through May 19, then a brief hiatus, followed by five more episodes starting in mid-June.
The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs--which started on Shudder in 2019–sees Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl (Diana Prince) host two or more horror films, usually with special guests. The series has enjoyed four seasons and 13 specials so far.
