Attendees of San-Diego Comic-Con know that one of the best parts of the event is the complete transformation of the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego and the pop-up activations that companies do to promote their products. This can include food, drinks, photo opportunities, and swag. They will often hire actors, models, and musicians to bring their activation to life. And this year, everyone is stepping up their game.
This year, AMC brought The Street of Immortality, a New Orleans-inspired immersive experience that allowed the fans to feel like they stepped into the streets of the Interview with the Vampire television universe and interacted with the locals. There were some iconic locations from Interview with the Vampire such as the Hotel Iberville and Nawlins Records. Attendees were treated to cocktails, treats, and a mocktail of the elixir of life as well as various giveaways. The overall effect of this activation was a perfect match for the show and definitely was intriguing.
