The screams keep on coming.

Scream VI–which topped the domestic box office with $44.5 million when it debuted two weeks ago–continued its fall-off this weekend, but still came in third against strong competition, according to a report on Deadline.

Facing off against the latest John Wick entry and the Shazam! sequel, the horror pic earned $8.5 million from 3,355 theaters in its third weekend, boosting its domestic take to $90 million.

Scream VI–directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick–follows the survivors of the last Ghostface killings as they move to New York City from their familiar Woodsboro backdrop. But the blood keeps on flowing.

Joining in on the carnage this time around are legacy standouts Courteney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Hayden Panettiere, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding–along with newcomers Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny.
