What would Ghostface say?

Courteney Cox has always been a star to horror fans for her legacy role as Gale Weathers in the Scream franchise, and now she’s a bona fide Hollywood luminary.

Cox this week was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her “stellar” career as an actor, producer, director and entrepreneur, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

And the timing is perfect–with Scream VI set to hit theaters in less than two weeks, and Cox’ Starz series Shining Vale heading into Season 2.

The latest installment in the classic horror film series–landing on big screens everywhere March 10–will see Cox reprise her Weathers role, along with Hayden Panettiere, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding. Cast newcomers include Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny.

The Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media film is directed by the returning Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

Fans know by now that Scream VI will follow the survivors of the last Ghostface massacres as they leave Woodsboro behind for the bright lights and rumbling subways on New York City. Where the slasher in the familiar white mask is sure to find them.
