Charisma Carpenter (Buff The Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars) has been added to the cast of the upcoming horror comedy ‘Scream Queens’. Star Emma Roberts revealed today via her Instagram account that the show will premiere the first Tuesday of the season September 22.
Carpenter is cast in a guest starring/potential recurring role as lead Ariana Grande’s mother. The anthology style series, from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, is about a college campus that becomes a setting for a series of murders. The 15 episode season co stars Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Oliver Hudson and Abigail Breslin.
