Fans of Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff will have to wait a few months longer for the blu-ray debut of some of their vintage team-ups, as Scream Factory’s upcoming collection has been delayed three month to June 18.
Scream Factory announced on twitter that “..unforeseen discussions behind the scenes” were responsible for the delay (perhaps Poelzig and Dr. Werdegast had another dispute).
**Update on THE BORIS KARLOFF / BELA LUGOSI COLLECTION** Sorry guys but we've had to move our Blu-ray release a couple of months due to some unforeseen discussions behind-the-scenes. The new planned street date is now 6/18/19.

The collection includes such hard to find films as The Black Cat (1934), The Raven (1935), The Invisible Ray (1936) and Black Friday (1940). The 4-disc set also comes with a slipcover by monster artist extraordinaire, Joel Robinson (who fans will remember from the recent The Vincent Price Collections Blu-rays).
Let’s hope there are no further delays, so we can all enjoy a gourmet feast of classic horror this June.
